Introducing “Raspberry Dot” to our collection of baby bedding. It’s different, it’s fun and great for a baby girl’s nursery. It is created by Nina Selby who designs sophisticated, quality baby bedding. She always puts finest quality material and it is made in the USA.The Raspberry Dot set has wonderful color texture in cream, chocolate, and bright Raspberry Dot. Patched, sectional bumper with Raspberry Dot back. Sheet in soft minky. Bed skirt in Raspberry stylized animal print. Coverlet in faux rabbit skin with minky back. My suggestion for paint colors for the nursery would be creams and browns to accent the bedding. If you just happen to have hardwood floors in the nursery this bedding set would look great in there.
There are many accessories to compliment the bedding set. Also available is the Raspberry Dot Complete 8 Piece Nursery. which includes the bumper, bed skirt, coverlet, sheet, diaper stacker, hamper, toy bag and one valance. It’s a great deal bundled in to one and you save money.
My mother-in-law’s favourite flower is a Dahlia. She loves everything about them. Thank goodness my father-in-law enjoys gardening and is great at growing new plants from seedlings. He has placed dahlia’s all around the house….wherever my mother-in-law wants them. Nina Selby has a new bedding set out called the “Dahlia Collection“, how ironic. Too bad this collection wasn’t out when I was looking for a baby girl crib bedding set, she probably would have bought it for me.
Dahlia is a nursery dream, big giant daisies and chocolate brown dot. 4 sectioned bumper in dot and swirl, patched front and back. Contemporary 300 thread count dot sheet, turquoise on grass green. Shirred bed skirt in tiny chocolate dot. A bright floral quilt backed in soft white velvet. Absolutely smashing. This collection is 100% printed and made in the USA.
We have just added a new bedding set to our website. It is the Cobblestone Collection by N. Selby at Cotton Tale Designs. It is a neutral bedding set which makes it great for expecting parents who do not want to know the sex of the baby. Even better yet the Cobblestone Complete 8 Piece Nursery is on sale for the month of August 2010. The 8 piece set includes, the bumper, crib sheet, coverlet, bed skirt, diaper stacker, toy bag, hamper and one straight valance.
The Cobblestone collection combines contemporary styling, retro fabrics, and classic chocolate toile, in a beautiful patchwork bumper. Trimmed in bronze velvet. The sheet is ivory minky, soft and luxurious. The faux rabbit fur coverlet is lined in ivory minky. The bed skirt is a tailored awning stripe in bronze and natural. This collection is 100% printed and made in the USA. The Cobblestone pattern makes a perfect sophisticated nursery.
If you are looking for a quality baby boy bedding set for your nursery try this new warm and inviting “Baby Boy Collection” by Cotton Tale Designs. It is created by the talented Nina Selby. Nina’s patterns are made using the finest quality materials and are uniquely designed to create an elegant and sophisticated nursery.
Boys Only is a wonderful combination of geometric and stripe fabrics in shades of blue, brown, and bronze. I think it is a really classy look. The colours are subtle. Paint the walls a nice taupe colour and everything will flow nicely together. The four sectioned bumper can be reversible and is trimmed in stripe cord. The light weight, duvet style comforter is perfect for baby after his first year.
I love it. I think this new baby bedding set by Nina Selby Cotton Tale Designs is just adorable and fun at the same time. This new collection is called Peggy Sue. I can’t believe I am saying this because I remember wearing these colours as a little girl and hated them. The bright flowers, wide collars and brown bell bottom pants, need I say more. However, when these colours and patterns are turned into a baby bedding collection they are wonderful and unique. Peggy Sue is a combination cottons, with accents in washed linens and bold floral prints. The 4 sectioned bumper is patched front and back in brown geometric linen and retro floral with tomato red cord and ties. The soft tone on tone cream floral sheet is 200 thread count cotton. The front pleat crib skirt is banded in matching red with a brown and cream vine floral design. A duvet style comforter is perfect for baby after the early months. Matching accessories in various bold colours and similar prints compliment this bedding set.
Well Nina Selby has done it again. Let me introduce you to Nina Selby’s Wild Elegance Collection by Cotton Tale Designs. The Wild Elegance baby bedding collection is very exciting and different. It is a combination of luxurious fabrics from bold cotton wovens to animal chenille prints. The reversible patchwork bumper is trimmed in bronze, velvet ruffle and ties. The bed skirt is faux cheetah stretch woven. The light weight comforter is outlined quilted with 300 thread count cotton, trimmed in velvet ruffle. This is a nursery that will delight everyone with it’s style. Matching accessories include toy bag, valance, hamper, pillow pack, standard lamp and shade, crib blanket, and wall art.

I just found out a great way to change an old dresser into a new change table for your nursery. It’s easy and affordable. Take an old dresser you have or try to find an old dresser for sale in your area. Paint the dresser completely white and then add any accent colours you want that complement your baby bedding decor. If you are using sage green in the baby’s room then paint the drawers sage green. Next purchase new hardware and replace the old existing hardware on the dresser. Now you can take the dresser and turn it into a baby change table by simply placing a change pad on top and placing a basket full of baby toiletries next to the change pad. After the baby outgrows the change table or you no longer need the change table you can use it as a dresser in the room. You accent your new dresser/change table with nursery accessories that match your bedding decor.
I could not pass up the opportunity to inform everyone on Cotton Tale Designs big sale on baby bedding. This sale is only on while inventory lasts. Anyone shopping for baby bedding online or in brick and mortar stores will undoubtedly come across the name Nina Selby. The reason I am writing this post is because over the past couple of weeks, we have been asked about Nina Selby about 3 or 4 times.
Nina Selby is the founder of Cottontale Designs, a very popular baby bedding manufacturer. From the onset of her company in 1990, Nina has always been an innovator and always on the leading edge of crib bedding and nursery decor. She has adapted and created products that now have become standard with many bedding manufacturers.
Nina’s inspiration comes from her passion for natural beauty. This is evident with sets such as Poppy, Artic Babies, and Elephant Brigade. She currently designs two separate lines, Cottontale Designs and N Selby designs. The Cottontale line is currently available at OurBabyBedding.com and the N Selby line is coming soon.
