Buying Baby Bedding Online

Looking online to buy your nursery bedding is a great way to shop.  At first when you start looking online for baby bedding  you can easily become overwhelmed but be patient.  Shopping online will get you a much wider variety of nursery bedding brands and collections.  Often, you may find baby items that may be selling for discount prices in local stores but could be found online for much lower prices.  Find the bedding that suits your personality best and is the right fit for your home.

Remember give yourself plenty of time prior to bringing home your new baby.  If you wait until the last minute you may rush yourself in making a wrong decision.  When your nursery is finished and decorated you will find yourself relaxed and can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy without worrying about the nursery.

Neutral Baby Bedding - Slow Poke Crib Bedding

Neutral Baby Bedding - Slow Poke Crib Bedding

Choosing a baby bedding set can and should be a lot of fun.  It is very easy to get frustrated  because there are so many types, colours and fabrics of crib bedding.   Sometimes parents pick a theme like animal prints, Disney characters or a Victorian theme with white lace and ruffles. You can choose your favorite colours, luxury baby bedding from famous designers or simply pick something that simply represents maybe your love of sports or flowers.  Bottom line, the baby doesn’t really have any preconception of what type of bedding he/she would prefer so you may as well pick something to please your own taste.   If you haven’t found out whether you are having a boy or a girl then there are many neutral baby bedding sets that can be purchased.

Boys Only 4 Piece Baby Bedding

If you are looking for a quality baby boy bedding set for your nursery try this new warm and inviting “Baby Boy Collection” by Cotton Tale Designs.  It is created by the talented Nina Selby.  Nina’s patterns are made using the finest quality materials and are uniquely designed to create an elegant and sophisticated nursery.

Boys Only is a wonderful combination of geometric and stripe fabrics in shades of blue, brown, and bronze.  I think it is a really classy look.  The colours are subtle.  Paint the walls a nice taupe colour and everything will flow nicely together. The four sectioned bumper can be reversible and is trimmed in stripe cord.  The light weight, duvet style comforter is perfect for baby after his first year.

Migi Little Tree Baby Bedding

Migi Little Tree Baby Bedding

Your nursery will come to life with “Migi Baby Bedding” from Bananafish.  Migi baby bedding keeps in mind that classical theme but also provides a charming way to decorate your nursery.  There are designs available for both little girls and little boys.  I especially like the “Migi Little Tree Collection“.   It consists of tree branches, leaves and birds decorated in a modern dot pattern.   It is a great design for a little baby boys room that does not have that typical little boy design.   It is simple and delicate just like a baby.

The bedding set includes Comforter, Bumper, Fitted Crib Sheet and  Crib Skirt.  They are 100% cotton exclusive of decoration.  Migi baby bedding is designed by the MiGi girls, Michele Adams and Gia Russo, who are moms to toddler-age boys.

Blueberry Baby Bedding

Blueberry by Trend LabI wonder if anyone has every asked this question before…..What is the cutest fruit?  The first thing that pops into my mind as I ponder this unusual question is blueberries.   They have one of the key components to being cute…they are small and round.  When you combine their deep rich color with their small and round quality,  I think that they really do qualify for the cutest fruit.  Doesn’t Strawberry Shortcake have a cousin or best friend named Blueberry something?  I have an adorable picture of my 2 year old sitting in front of a bowl of blueberries munching away so contently.  This is just another piece of evidence to defend the blueberry as the cutest fruit.

Now, wouldn’t that be a great idea for a baby bedding theme?  Well, Trend Lab baby has done just that.  Their newest collection is called Blueberry.   As they do so well, they have combined the classic color combo of blue and brown with open circles and wide awning stripe patterns to create a perfect look for today’s nursery.  Of course, this set is now available at OurBabyBedding.com

Stay tuned because in my next post, I will introduce the matching baby girl set called Bubblegum.

Big Equipment by Cottontale DesignsMy son loves watching a show on Treehouse Television called Mighty Machines.   This is a series of short education films that show live shots of large machines such as tractors, backhoes, trucks, cranes, etc…and actually puts voices to the featured machine as if the machine is talking to the kids while it is working and it explains what it is doing.   Little boys just love those bright yellow cranes and tractors digging and dumping dirt.

Today I wanted to spotlight the Big Equipment baby boy bedding set by Cottontale Designs.  This cute collection of construction equipment is sure to delight your little builder.   Big equipment appliques such as trucks and cranes adorn the bumper and quilt.   The mobile is really cute as well with those litte trucks circling overhead.  Other accessories available include a hamper, diaper stacker, lamp, wall art, toy bag, valance, and decorative pillows.

This set really looks good with natural wood furniture and crib.

Making Tracks for Baby Boy Bedding

Making Tracks by Three Little ZigletsWhat is it about trains that kids love so much?  I brought the kids to a new park in a new subdivision near our house today and someone had cleared a little path at the end of the park leading up to a set of railroad tracks.   The tracks were up on a bit of a hill and so whoever had cleared the trail added some old wooden pallets and made kind of a little bridge leading up to the tracks.   Both my son and daughter get so curious when they see little trails and bridges that we just had to follow it.  They  became so excited when they reached the end of the trail and crossed the little bridge up to the train tracks.  There is just something kind of magical when you look down a set of tracks as they just seem to go on into infinity.

Anyway, I can image that the designer who created the Making Tracks collection by Three Little Ziglets really appreciated this love of trains that kids have.   This collection of playful red polka dots, engineer stripes, and colorful trains will be lively enough for the little conductor in your home and it really is a beautiful choice for baby boy bedding…not a bad choice if you are looking for neutral crib bedding either.  The nice thing about Three Little Ziglets is that they make matching twin and double sets as well along with some beautiful matching furniture pieces to help your baby’s room grow with them all the way up to their teenage years.

Pirates Cove for Baby Boys

Pirate's Cove by Cottontale DesignsWhen I think of baby boys, a smile just runs across my entire face.  That’s because of my little 3 year old Gianmarco.  The kid has the biggest perma smile and just lights up any room.   I love seeing those chubby little legs try to break dance in the middle of the living room.

His favorite baby boy bedding set at OurBabyBedding.com is Pirate’s Cove by Cottontale Designs.  It is one of my favorites as well.   Take a look at the vivid reds and blues and those cute little pirates and pirates ships.  Or course there are also many matching accessories available such as mobiles, lamps, diaper stackers, valances, hampers, and more.   The pirate theme is very popular for baby boy nurseries because it conjures up images of adventures on the high sees and on far away tropical islands.

Check out Squidoo.com for pirate coloring and crafts for your kids.
